This book is a gathering of twelwe short texts of ‘aqīdah authored by some of the leaders of the people of Sunnah and athar, and it is gathered and commentated upon by Shaykh Abū ‘Abdillāh ‘Ādil ibn ‘Abdillāh Āl Hamdān, may Allāh preserve him. The title of the book can be translated into: “The chosen (texts) from the gathering book of the belief of the people of Sunnah and narrations.” Despite this book being a summarization of the original book with the name: “Al-Jāmi’ fī ‘Aqāid wa Rasāil Ahlis-Sunnah wal-Āthār”, it is still comprehensive and full of benefit in itself. And the excellent commentary of the muhaqqiq only adds to this benefit, and it leaves the reader behind with no questions about the foundation of the issues mentioned.
