The collective publication “~” was printed along the Tagus river, using the gelatin printing technique (print from surface of block of organic water based gelatin), creating the print masters on indigo paper either with handwriting and drawing or with use of a thermal printer. The process requires minimal space and basic everyday materials. Improvisational print studios in: motel dining rooms, kitchens of youth-hostels, unofficial campsites, public spaces, parks, squares, roof tops, a palace. As we crossed the territory, notes, drawings and texts multiplied into dozens of copies, depicting all different dimensions of the journey.
