The story explored the existential quests of young, urban, spiritual pathfinders who tried to bridge the gap between matter and mind. Its first episode, “Ksatria, Puteri, Bintang Jatuh” (Knight, Princess, and the Falling Star) was sold phenomenally and had achieved a cult status among Indonesian young readers. Dewi’s first two books were consecutively shortlisted for Khatulistiwa Literary Award, and she had received various awards for her contribution to the literary scene. Up to now, she has published four books, including “Supernova: Akar” (Root), “Supernova: Petir” (Thunder), and an anthology of short fictions “Filosofi Kopi” (Coffee Philosophy) that was also short listed for Khatulistiwa Literary Award and was chosen as the best literary work by Tempo Magazine.
