Some things are best left unsaid... Five months after the horrors that had terrified Buckinghamshire, DS Jack Townsend and the Specialist Crimes Unit are assigned the case of a man found dead of a suspected overdose. But when it is soon revealed that something more sinister is at play, Townsend and the SCU have to act fast. Then another body is found. Another staged suicide. Distracted by a separate ongoing murder investigation, Townsend finds himself stretched to breaking point as the pressure begins to build. As the body count begins to rise, the team realise they are hunting a killer who doesn't want to be found and who seemingly knows exactly what they are doing.
