I've always liked Jane Bennet. She bore her misery with fortitude and grace, she spoke no ill of anyone, even those who most certainly did her wrong. She's always been seen as the quiet, boring one, and in my opinion sadly neglected by English teachers and victimised at the pen of fanfic writers. But she was no fool, and I'd like to think that Charles Bingley discovered he'd married a woman with hidden depths. This story explores how Mrs Jane Bingley's marriage might have begun. It contains material of an adult nature and is not suitable for readers under 18 years of age. Review "Light-hearted romance that further advances and/or develops Jane's character without really changing her original/core P &P character. I really enjoyed this read especially as its one of the few with a different Bennet perspective. Go Jane! A little tiny itty bitty change (or addition depending, I guess, to how one sees the time-line) to Miss Caroline Bingley's "[paying] off every arrear [...]of civility to Elizabeth" depending on the reader's view of "civility"" by Calvin (Amazon reviewer) "Sweet Jane kicks Caroline's ass. Excellent Short Story. Well written, inventive, and funny. Very satisfying to have Jane as the heroine." by JA Lowcountry (Amazon reviewer)
