In just one volume, this works presents commentary on international civil procedure law as it appears in the ZPO. The provisions of German international civil procedure law are dispersed throughout the ZPO and also in other law codes. This commentary brings together the significant provisions on international litigation (§§ 110, 293, 328, 722 et seq., 1061 und 1067 et seq.) as well as the issue of international pendency (appendix to § 261), which is not regulated in the ZPO. The new edition has been completely revised and now includes commentary on the provisions §§ 1087-1109 ZPO. Significant changes in German international civil procedure law: The Act on Court Fees in Family Law Matters (FamGKG) regulates international civil procedure law with regard to marriage and family related proceedings as well as voluntary jurisdiction in a fundamentally new and independent manner. The 11th book of the ZPO has been modified and now includes sections 1087-1096 (European Order for Payment Procedures) as well as sections 1097-1109 (European Small Claims Procedure). The Lugano Convention II replaced the Lugano Convention I.
