What can contemporary photography contribute to the current art discourse and the analysis of overall societal findings? The artist collective bonnataxi, consisting of Maura Ecco and Gerry Linda and named after an unexpectedly inspiring encounter with a Bonn taxi driver, has set out to search. The result is a picture book that sometimes shakes, disturbs and sometimes comforts but never leaves cold. Factual sober images meet opulently interpreting text work. This opens up unimagined perspectives on photographic and philosophical questions, because content or aesthetic restrictions are foreign to the duo. The results of this unique symbiosis have appeared in the "Stadtkind Hannover" since recently. On the occasion of the hundredth joint work, the works of the artist collective are now also gathered for the first time in a picture book in which the wink of the eyes is always visible and readable.
