Jo Brandi is a forensic scientist who is on a mission to find out who shot and killed her father in the line of duty. As a child she vowed to find out who shot him and the closer she gets, the murderer is always one step ahead of her by taunting her and going after her family and friends. Not only is the case a mess, so is Jo’s life. She’s in love with her brother’s wife. She’s been captivated by Teri White since middle school, but their friendship is shattered when Teri marries Jo’s big brother. Teri is a sweet, but defiant person who knows what she wants out life, except when it comes to Jo. She’s an esteemed pianist but chooses psychiatry as a profession because she wants to help people.
