The Dead and the Buried

When the body of a renowned archaeologist is found naked and laid out in a gruesome manner in the grounds of a ruined castle, DI Marc Fagan is faced with a nine hundred-year-old mystery. The victim’s archaeology team put up a wall of silence regarding his murder. DI Fagan must unravel the mystery behind the killing. In doing so he stumbles upon another murder mystery stretching back to 1975, when another archaeologist was murdered in the same fashion. As the investigation deepens, Fagan uncovers a conspiracy surrounding a religious artefact stolen during the crusades and taken back to Monmouthshire.
