The author of this monograph, Professor Anatoly A. Logunov, is the outstanding scientist in the field of theoretical and mathematical physics. His contribution to the development of quantum field theory, argumentation and application of dispersion relations and inclusive process theory is great. The recent years Professor Logunov has been fruitfully working on gravitation problems. He has published a lot of scientific articles, books, and monographs. To carry out scientific research in high energy physics under the direction of A. A. Logunov the world's largest proton syncronotron accelerate at the energy of 76 GeV was launched in 1967 in Protvino. Professor A. A. Logunov is a full member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (1972), an Honorary Doctor of many universities abroad; he was Vice-President of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1974-1991), rector of Moscov M.V. Lomonosov State University (1977-1992). He was bestowed the Lenin Proze (1970), the State Prizes of the USSR (1973, 1984), the Social Labour Hero Status (1980); his awards include four Lenin orders and many other orders and medals. This monograph sums up studies on developing the relativistic theory of gravity (RTG).
