The monograph presents a classification of tram tracks compiled on the basis of an analysis of tram track structures in Russia and abroad, as well as offers standard track structures and switch designs. The book presents rail types for various operating conditions and discusses methods for improving their service life. In addition, requirements have been developed for rail liners that provide noise and vibration isolation.
