ISBN 1860199429 "Hastings to Culloden: Battles in Britain 1066-1746" covers the period when Britain was seldom free from conflict. This book shows how these battles, 28 in all, played a part in determining the course of British history. It deals with nine battles in detail with a further 19 battles also covered.
