The publication of this fifth volume on land trusts is responsive to the continuing and expanding interest of the Bar in this form of real estate titleholding arrangement. It is, again, appropriate for me to acknowledge the communications received from lawyers throughout the country and their suggestions for additional uses and applications of the trust. It is evident from this correspondence that the land trust is being used with increasing frequency in many states, and included in this volume are decisions and forms from other jurisdictions in which the land trust has been used by lawyers.
